Bondalti's Ercros takeover approved by Spanish watchdog with conditions

( October 31, 2025, 16:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Bondalti's takeover of Ercros has been conditionally approved by the Spanish merger authority following a second-phase review. The watchdog identified competition risks in the caustic soda and sodium hypochlorite markets but accepted commitments from Bondalti that were judged sufficient to resolve them, according to a press release published on Thursday. The authorization is not yet final, as it must still be reviewed by the Ministry of Economy, which may refer it to the Council of Ministers for further assessment.The statement is attached....
