KKR files complaint against US DOJ over HSR Act case

( January 14, 2025, 22:27 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: KKR filed a complaint against Doha Mekki, the US Department of Justice, the US Federal Trade Commission and the United States of America "challenging the abuse of power and unconstitutional application of the HSR Act," KKR said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The private equity firm, which is being sued by the DOJ over alleged HSR Act violations, says it cooperated in good faith with agency investigations and that "outgoing political leadership of the Antitrust Division was mischaracterizing our actions and overstepping its statutory authority."See attached file....
