Omnicom-Interpublic deal attracts public review in Australia

Releasing a market inquiries letter today, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission, or ACCC, said it will focus on local overlaps in media buying and marketing, along with communication services provided by both companies. The regulator said media-buying services included the purchase of advertising opportunities from media outlets and the on-selling of advertising opportunities to advertisers.
