Plaintiff pushes for Google geofencing data case review by US Supreme Court

Chatrie filed a reply in support of the US Supreme Court reviewing a case over geofencing data obtained from Google, saying lower courts are divided. They argued the court should hold that the government cannot obtain a warrant to rummage through millions of user accounts without individualized suspicion — or at a minimum, that a warrant is needed before unmasking users’ identities.See attached file....
