Google launches US suit against Chinese 'phishing-as-a-service' operation

In this case, the licensing of the "phishing-as-a-service" software Lighthouse allowed other cybercriminals to compromise as many as 115 million credit cards in the US, Google said in a complaint filed in the Southern District of New York that is intended to dismantle the group selling access to Lighthouse.Adopting a role commonly played by governments, Google has sued a Chinese cybercrime group in what the internet giant said is first-of-its-kind litigation intended to disrupt a group it says has harmed over 1 million people in more than 120 countries....
