Artificial Intelligence - Naver Corp - KBS, MBC and SBS' litigation alleging copyright infringement (South Korea)

South Korea’s three largest terrestrial broadcasters — KBS, MBC and SBS — have filed a lawsuit against Naver Corp, alleging the technology giant infringed on their copyright and violated the Unfair Competition Prevention and Trade Secret Protection Act to train its artificial intelligence language models. They are seeking compensation for damages and a ban on the practice.
