FX traders say Edmar, Irish Blue & Gold should dismiss US antitrust claims

( October 24, 2025, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: FX traders told a US judge that Edmar Financial Co. and Irish Blue & Gold’s move to dismiss themselves from antitrust claims over an alleged scheme to rig auctions for foreign exchange transactions should be granted with conditions. The plaintiffs were ordered to disclose improperly withheld emails, and additional discovery is important for defendants’ statute of limitations defense and class certification agreements, the traders said in a letter. “Defendants have reason to believe that all such discovery has not been completed. ... Accordingly, the order of dismissal should be conditioned on Edmar and Irish having produced all responsive documents or confirming that they have done so,” the filing said. See attached file. ...
