According to the EBA’s 2026 work plan, its key focuses include developing an effective EU rulebook, advancing risk assessment tools, and tackling technological innovation. The authority will also assume new oversight roles under new EU legislation, while financial-crime tasks move to the newly established Anti-Money Laundering Authority.Press release follows.
