Fujifilm wins UK-related patent dispute with Kodak at UPC

( July 18, 2025, 10:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Kodak infringed Fujifilm's European Patent 3,511,174 concerning a planographic printing plate in the UK, the Unified Patent Court's Mannheim Local Division ruled today. The company needs to cease the selling, supply or distribution of the contested products in the UK and is further ordered to recall and destroy them. The UPC confirmed its jurisdiction to rule on infringement of the UK part without affecting its national legal status. The parties concerned initially had disputes in Germany and the UK, but they were separated by the court.The decision is attached....
