Chinese Internet court sanctions legal-tech firms for unauthorized lawyer data use

The Guangzhou Internet Court ordered the subsidiary to publicly apologize and pay 3,000 yuan ($436) in compensation to a lawyer whose profile was misused on the platform. The parent company was held jointly liable for economic damages.
