NCA officer who stole Bitcoin during investigation is jailed in UK

( July 16, 2025, 16:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A National Crime Agency officer who stole 50 Bitcoin, now worth more than four millions pounds, during an investigation, has been jailed. Paul Chowles, 42, was part of the NCA investigation targeting organized crime networks using the dark website Silk Road in 2013. He was jailed at Liverpool Crown Court today for five and a half years, following an earlier guilty plea. Statement follows....
