Japan's ANA delays Nippon Cargo acquisition again amid ongoing Chinese review

( June 25, 2025, 01:54 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Japan’s top airline group ANA Holdings said that its planned acquisition of Nippon Cargo Airlines is postponed again from July 1 to Aug. 1, due to the ongoing merger review in China. This is the eighth postponement announced by the airline group, since it first announced the plan in July 2023 to buy all shares of Nippon Cargo from Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha, or NYK Line.
