Canadian Competition Bureau approves RONA-All-Fab Building Components deal with conditions

The agency said in a statement that it concluded that the proposed transaction would likely result in a substantial lessening of competition in the design, supply and manufacturing of roof and floor trusses used in housing construction in the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan area. Rona agreed to sell a truss manufacturing facility that it owns in Martensville, Saskatchewan to resolve the bureau's concerns, the agency said. Statement follows in full. ...
