The European Commission’s ability to negotiate a compromise with the opposing parties could be the key to unlocking the deal.The fanfare last Friday announcing the conclusion of 25 years of negotiations on a landmark EU-Mercosur trade agreement might suggest that all hurdles have finally been cleared for the deal to enter into force....
