Zuckerberg faces deposition soon in US Meta AI copyright case

Meanwhile, Meta is questioning whether Silverman is the “actual author” of one of the books at issue in the case, as it seeks to depose her “ghost writer.”Two months after a judge blasted lawyers suing Meta Platforms for their plodding progress in litigation over the use of copyrighted works to train its large language models, the plaintiffs are due to soon depose Mark Zuckerberg as part of a long list of sworn interviews with senior Meta executives in the case....
