OpenAI sued in India by ANI for copyright infringement

The Delhi High Court declined to grant any interim relief when it heard the case on Tuesday, but issued a notice to OpenAI. Although this is the first instance of an Indian publication taking legal action against OpenAI for alleged copyright infringement, OpenAI currently faces 13 lawsuits in the US, two in Canada and one in Germany. No injunctions, however, have yet been granted against the chatbot, its lawyer told the court on Tuesday.
