Meta begins throttled rollout of Ray-Ban glasses AI features in four EU states (update*)

Regulatory pushback had caused the platform to pause plans. For now, the chatbot will only answer the wearer’s voice questions and will not analyze what the wearer can see via the inbuilt cameras. Owners of Ray-Ban Meta glasses in France, Italy, Ireland and Spain can interact with the Meta AI chatbot via the glasses from today as Meta Platforms enabled the feature after working on regulatory compliance in the bloc. ...
