Meta, Within list executives from Sony, Apple, Alphabet, TikTok-owner ByteDance as fact witnesses in FTC lawsuit challenging merger

( November 18, 2022, 22:36 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Meta Platforms and virtual reality company Within told a California federal court today that it seeks to call executives from Apple, Alphabet, Nike and Peloton among others to testify as fact witnesses at a preliminary injunction hearing in the case. In a filing to the US District Court for the Northern District of California, Meta listed executives from 10 non-parties as fact witnesses, including Sony Interactive and China's ByteDance, which owns the video sharing app TikTok. Meta redacted portions of the summary of general topics of anticipated testimony it intends to elicit from Apple, Alphabet and ByteDance as part of a federal lawsuit that seeks to block the acquisition of Within.See attached document...
