Unnamed bank gets GDPR fine in Brandenburg

( April 17, 2023, 16:25 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: An unnamed bank has been fined by the data protection authority of the German state of Brandenburg for violating Articles 28 and 32 of the EU's General Data Protection Regulation, the watchdog's activity report for 2022 said. The data breach incident related to the unauthorized access to the bank's video surveillance cameras covering various places such as ATMs and parking lots, which of the images then were published online, the watchdog said. The watchdog found that the bank didn't have a controller-processor agreement with the processor and failed to provide sufficient technical and organizational measures for data security, the report said.
