UK's Financial Services Authority: Former compliance officer at Greenlight Capital and JP Morgan Cazenove trader fined

( January 27, 2012, 16:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The UK's Financial Services Authority has banned former compliance officer and trader at Greenlight Capital Alexander Ten-Holter and fined him 130,000 pounds for failing to make reasonable enquiries before selling his firms' shareholding in Punch Taverns. Caspar Agnew, a trading desk director at JP Morgan Cazenove, was fined 65,000 for failing to identify and act on the suspicious order, which facilitated insider dealing and market abuse. David Einhorn and his Greenlight Capital hedge fund were earlier fined a total of 7.2 million pounds for insider trading.Full press release follows below....
