Mrkoll website fined in Sweden for GDPR breach

( December 16, 2019, 10:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- The website Mrkoll.se has been fined by Swedish data protection authority, for publishing the personal data of more than 8 million citizens. The data included records of criminal convictions and nonpayment of debt, which breached the EU General Data Protection Regulation and/or the national Credit Information Act, the watchdog said. The authority imposed an administrative sanction of 35,000 euros on Mrkoll.Statement follows....
