Snap must produce documents 'critical' to Meta's defense in US FTC monopoly lawsuit, Meta tells court

( October 27, 2022, 23:07 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Meta is asking a US court to order non-party Snap to produce documents it claims are "highly relevant" about advertising competition and pricing in relation to allegations in a US Federal Trade Commission monopoly lawsuit that it suppressed advertising competition. "Snap has stonewalled and delayed," Meta said in a filing to the US District Court for the District of Columbia. "Snap’s documents on who it competes with are critical to dispute the FTC’s claim that Snap is Meta’s only significant competitor. If these documents demonstrate Snap competes with not just Meta, but also, for example, TikTok, the FTC’s market definition collapses," it said.See attached document....
