New heads appointed for South Korea's communications, financial regulators

The president’s office confirmed the appointment during a press briefing this morning, which also included the appointment of Kim Tae-gyu, vice chairman of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, as a standing member of the agency. Separately, the president named Kim Byoung-hwan, former 1st vice minister of economy and finance, as the new head of the Financial Services Commission.South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has appointed Lee Jin-sook, former president of Daejeon Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation, as the new head of the Korea Communications Commission, or KCC....
