Lighthouse Network, Shift4 move to dismiss challenge to merger

( December 9, 2019, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Lighthouse Network and Shift4 Corporation have filed a motion asking US District Judge M. James Lorenz to dismiss Payment Logistics' second amended complaint seeking to prevent their merger. They say Payment Logistics’ complaint fails to allege harm to competition, an interface market that includes all competitors, or that restaurants will be forced to switch to Shift4’s services. “PLL comes before this court because competition is not going its way. It fears losing restaurant customers to Shift4 and others that offer fully integrated services with bundled discounts and lower prices, and allegedly this has already started.”See document below....
