Indian, Taiwanese nonylphenol targeted in China for final antidumping review

( March 28, 2018, 03:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China’s Ministry of Commerce has decided to start a final review of antidumping measures imposed on nonylphenol imported from India and Taiwan, after receiving a petition submitted by companies on behalf of the domestic industry. The review will examine whether the termination of such measures will lead to a recurrence of dumping and cause harm to the domestic industry. Mofcom levied antidumping duties on the product in March 2007 and extended the measures for a further five years on March 29, 2013. Nonylphenol is used as an intermediate in the manufacture of detergents, pesticides, personal-care products and plastics.The statement follows:...
