Avnet settles price-fixing claims against Matsuo Electric in US capacitors cartel case

( April 26, 2023, 22:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Avnet told a US federal court it has reached a settlement in principle with Matsuo Electric Co. to resolve claims accusing Matsuo of conspiring to fix prices of aluminum and tantalum capacitors. Avnet and Matsuo will file a notice of dismissal with the US District Court for the Northern District of California in advance of commencement of trial in early May, a filing said. Nippon Chemi-con Corporation and United Chemi-con, Inc. are the only remaining defendants in the action, it said.See document below....
