Plaintiffs seeks to revive BIPA claims against Facebook

( April 24, 2023, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A non-user Facebook user suing the company for not posting a public policy explaining its practices for retaining biometric data asked a US appeals court to overturn dismissal. “It is beyond question that Facebook engaged in wholesale [Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act] violations.
