Two individuals sentenced to prison for bid-rigging public transport projects in California, US DOJ says

( April 24, 2023, 22:27 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Department of Justice's antitrust divison said two individuals were sentenced in US District Court for the Eastern District of California for their roles in a bid-rigging and bribery scheme involving California Department of Transportation, or Caltrans, improvement and repair contracts. Choon Foo “Keith” Yong, a former Caltrans contract manager, was sentenced to 49 months’ imprisonment, while William D. Opp, a former contractor, was sentenced to 45 months’ imprisonment. Both were ordered to pay restitution.
