District of Columbia judge won't require Facebook to turn over CEO Mark Zuckerberg emails regarding Cambridge Analytica

( January 19, 2021, 19:41 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Facebook won't have to turn over emails from CEO Mark Zuckerberg and three other top executives to the office of DC Attorney General Karl Racine, a District of Columbia superior court judge said. In a ruling denying the DC's motion to compel Facebook to turn over documents, Judge Fern Saddler wrote that granting the request "would be unduly burdensome at this stage." She did require Facebook to give Racine's office search terms necessary to locate relevant documents no later than April 1. Racine alleges that Facebook's involvement with Cambridge Analytica broke DC consumer protection law.See document below....
