Judge denies class action status to lawsuit over Apple text message services

( August 4, 2015, 22:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: In a victory for Apple, US District Judge Lucy Koh has denied a motion to certify a nationwide class in a lawsuit that alleges Apple wrongfully blocked the text messages of all US residents who switched from an iPhone to a non-Apple smartphone after October 2011. Koh found that the proposed nationwide class was overly broad, because it included "individuals who, by definition, could not have been injured by Defendant’s alleged wrongful conduct."Please see attached order....
