U.S. District Court: Southern District of New York - U.S.A. v. Zevi Wolmark [plea agreement]

( January 9, 2012, 22:34 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Zevi Wolmark, former chief financial officer of CDR Financial Products, has pleaded guilty to bid-rigging and fraud involving municipal bond investment contracts. CDR conspired to arrange for a predetermined bidder to win an investment contract, at below-competitive interest rates, by having potential rivals submit losing bids. In exchange for these arrangements, CDR would receive kickbacks from the winning bidders. Wolmark has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to allocate or rig bids, one count of conspiracy to defraud municipal investors, the U.S., and the IRS, and one count of wire fraud in furtherance of those conspiracies.See agreement below....
