Meta told to resume talks with Italian collecting society SIAE

The AGCM said the conduct of Meta-owned platforms is likely to cause serious and irreparable harm to competition in copyright licensing. Meta has also been ordered to provide all information required to allow SIAE to restore the balance in the parties' commercial relationship. In addition, Meta must restore musical works on Facebook and Instagram, subject to SIAE's prior approval, the AGCM said.
