PGA Tour says its rules are legal in response to antitrust lawsuit, files counterclaims against LIV Golf

( September 28, 2022, 23:08 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The PGA Tour has filed its response to an antitrust complaint from pro golfers and LIV Golf in which it accuses LIV Golf of using antitrust law as a "cudgel" against it instead of trying to compete fairly as a rival league. LIV is trying to get pro golfers to invalidate PGA's legitimate rules after inducing the pro golfers to violate the rules with hundreds of millions of dollars in Saudi money, the PGA Tour said.
