Apple loses US copyright case against security company Corellium

( December 29, 2020, 19:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Apple's claims that Corellium, a security research firm, violated copyright law with software that helps security researchers find bugs and security holes on Apple’s products have been thrown out by a US judge in Florida. Judge Rodney Smith denied Apple's motion for summary judgment, finding that Corellium's "use of iOS in connection with the Corellium Product is permissible.” But Smith didn't toss Apple's allegation that Corellium bypassed Apple’s security measures, violating the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. See document below....
