( April 29, 2014, 12:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority and the Serious Fraud Office have signed an agreement to cooperate in the probe and prosecution of criminal cartel offenses committed by individuals.This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) records the basis on which the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) will co-operate to investigate and/or prosecute individuals in respect of the criminal cartel offence, established by section 188 of the Enterprise Act 2002 (EA02), where serious or complex fraud is suspected (including price-fixing, limitation of production or supply, market-sharing and bid-rigging)....
