All EU banks in Finland should apply domestic capital rule on mortgages, ESRB says

( March 5, 2018, 17:09 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: All EU mortgage lenders operating in Finland should apply a rule imposed by Finnish regulators on domestic banks to ensure prudent lending, the European Systemic Risk Board said. The panel of central bankers and regulators recommended that other national authorities apply the same minimum risk weight in capital formulas for exposures in the country, to ensure a level playing field.The text of the statement follows....
