Greatview challenging SAMR approval of NewJF's stake buy at China court

( July 2, 2024, 07:08 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Chinese packaging-materials supplier Greatview Aseptic Packaging is challenging at a Beijing court a decision by China's antitrust regulator to allow local rival Shandong NewJF Technology Packaging to buy into the company. Greatview filed the administrative lawsuit with the Beijing Intellectual Property Court on March 7, CEO Jeff Bi disclosed in a recent stock exchange filing opposing NewJF's ongoing bid to buy all of Greatview shares. Last September, the State Administration for Market Regulation unconditionally cleared NewJF's acquisition of 28.22 percent of Greatview, despite intense efforts by Greatview executives to delay the deal.The stock exchange filing is attached....
