Ninth Circuit affirms denial of class certification in iPhone exclusivity case

( November 13, 2019, 18:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has affirmed a denial of class certification in a case accusing Apple of conspiring with AT&T to monopolize the market for iPhone wireless service. In a 2-1 decision, the panel determined that the district court didn't abuse its discretion and plaintiffs failed to bring much for the court to conduct a “rigorous analysis.” Circuit Judge Jacqueline Nguyen filed a dissent, saying the district court could have conducted a more thorough analysis.See document below....
