Senators Warren, Cummings ask regulators for banks’ derivatives holdings

( July 16, 2015, 15:38 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Democratic US senators Elizabeth Warren and Elijah Cummings asked financial regulators for information about the largest banks’ derivatives holdings in light of the government’s roll-back last year of the Dodd-Frank Act push-out rule. The senators had directly asked JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup and Goldman Sachs for the data, but the banks balked, saying it was proprietary.
