French energy firm EDF Renewables joins legal bid against US for removing bifacial solar panels in tariff relief

( November 8, 2019, 22:28 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: EDF Renewables, a French renewable energy company, filed a complaint against the US government for withdrawing imported bifacial solar modules in October from the exclusion of tariffs on crystalline silicon photovoltaic cell imports, imposed last year under Section 201 of the Trade Act of 1974. EDF Renewables joins Invenergy Renewables, the original plaintiff that lodged the challenge Oct. 21 against the Office of the US Trade Representative and US Customs and Border Protection at the Court of International Trade.See document below....
