Real estate company pays Spanish GDPR fine over data disclosure

( September 22, 2022, 09:56 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A real estate company, Urban Divertia, has paid a fine of 1,200 euros imposed by the Spanish data protection authority for data disclosure. The company's manager had sent to a current tenant a document containing data of previous tenants, which was a violation of the General Data Protection Regulation's principle of confidentiality, the regulator said. The initial fine amounted to 2,000 euros, but it was reduced as the company decided to make a voluntary payment.The decision is attached in Spanish....
