Mutual funds to face new US SEC rules on liquidity, disclosure, and swing pricing

( October 13, 2016, 18:55 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Securities and Exchange Commission adopted rules requiring monthly and yearly reporting of information by registered investment companies. The SEC also approved rules to require open-end funds, including mutual funds and exchange-traded funds, to establish liquidity risk management programs. In addition, the SEC adopted a swing pricing rule permitting mutual funds to adjust their net asset value to pass on to purchasing or redeeming shareholders the costs of their trading.Statement follows in full....
