Scottish government to publish draft independence referendum legislation

( October 13, 2016, 11:08 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Scottish government will next week publish a draft bill, setting out the terms for a second referendum on independence for Scotland. Nicola Sturgeon, the First Minister, said that a “hard Brexit” — which would take the UK out the single market —would be grounds for a second plebiscite.
