UK FCA requires firms to report competition-law breaches, outlines antitrust policies

( July 15, 2015, 11:22 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: UK banks, insurers, investment firms and other financiers must report any actual or potential breaches of competition law to the Financial Conduct Authority, the regulator said in final rules. The FCA also issued guidelines today for how it will use its competition-enforcement powers, which could come via market studies and requests for investigations by the Competition and Markets Authority.The following is the text of the statement.
