Sabre asks judge to reconsider decision allowing US Airways antitrust suit to go to trial

( October 11, 2016, 22:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Reservation company Sabre urged US District Judge Lorna Schofield to reconsider her decision to let antitrust claims by US Airways go to trial, citing the US Circuit Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit's recent decision to overturn US enforcers' win over American Express in a case over the card company's anti-steering rules. The decision clearly means that in two-sided markets, like the credit card and travel booking markets, both sides must be taken into account in antitrust analysis, Sabre argued, saying US Airways' claims should be dismissed.See document below....
