Rolls-Royce probe into individuals continues following US charges, UK SFO says

( November 8, 2017, 10:15 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Individuals connected to Rolls-Royce are still facing an ongoing investigation into suspected bribery offenses, following US action against former employees late last night, the UK's Serious Fraud Office has said. Three ex-employees in Rolls-Royce’s former energy division — James Finley, Keith Barnett and Louis Zuurhout — have pleaded guilty to bribery and corruption offenses in the US. Andreas Kohler, who worked for an international engineering consulting firm instructed by Rolls-Royce’s former customer in Kazakhstan, has also pleaded guilty. Petros Contoguris, who worked as an intermediary for Rolls-Royce, has been indicted. The SFO said it had worked with the US Department of Justice, and that it is continuing its probe into the conduct of individuals in Rolls-Royce's civil, defense, marine and former energy divisions. "The SFO and DOJ continue to cooperate in their parallel investigations," the SFO said.The full SFO statement follows....
