Kerkosand files fresh appeal over Slovak aid to Najpi at EU court

( June 17, 2024, 08:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Sand supplier Kerkosand has again taken the European Commission to court, over the watchdog's failure to start a formal probe into Slovak investment aid to Najpi, a producer of sand for glassmaking. In 2020, the General Court sided with Kerkosand, annulling the state aid regulator's decision that it had no power to review the measures as they were exempted under EU provisions.
