Plaintiff asks Ninth Circuit to review decision in terrorism case against Twitter

( February 14, 2018, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Counsel for Tamara Fields has asked the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit to hold a panel rehearing in a case accusing Twitter of violating federal law by aiding the ISIS terrorist group in allowing it to open accounts and use Twitter's direct messaging function. The petition says that by affirming the dismissal of the case, the panel contradicted previous court decisions that have interpreted the Anti-Terrorism Act to not require a showing of a “direct relationship between the provision of material support and a specific attack.”See document below....
