Illumina, Grail ask federal judge to deny FTC's motion to dismiss without prejudice the case against their deal

( May 27, 2021, 12:51 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Illumina and Grail have asked a judge in the US District Court for the Southern District of California to deny the US Federal Trade Commission's motion to dismiss without prejudice the case brought by the agency against Illumina's proposed acquisition of Grail. The defendants said they don't oppose the dismissal of the case with prejudice, meaning the FTC wouldn't be able to reinstate its request for a preliminary injunction to stop the deal at a later date.
