Cofece fines marine diesel company, three executives for illegal price manipulation

( June 12, 2024, 19:08 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Mexico's Federal Economic Competition Commission, or Cofece, fined Combustibles Puerto de Abrigo Dzilam de Bravo and three executives for manipulating the price of marine diesel for a period of almost four years, the agency said. The fines amount to 3,417,895 pesos ($182,948). Marine diesel is a type of fuel that's used in boats and other vessels and is sold at service stations that are near the coast or the mouth of rivers.
